井の中の蛙？
少し前にスラッシュドットジャパンのこの記事でBlogの認知度みたいなことを載せていたので、最近友達や知り合いに会う機会が多かったこともありごく身内にですが、Blogに付いて聞いてみました。
Webとはまったく関係ない仕事をしている人ばかりなのですが、年齢は二十歳前半から４０代半ばまで女性４人、男性３人です。インターネットは一人の女性を除き後は全員が自宅では使っています。
先ず、ウェブログって知ってる？の問いには全滅でした。日記サイトみたいなものやけど？といってもまったく無反応です。自分でも日記じゃないよな？と思いながら相手に聞いてるので分かるわけないですよね。雑記帳とかメモ帳とかって聞いた方がよかったのかも知れません。まぁどっちにしても興味がない人にはBlogなどどうでもいいことなのですよね。
で、Blogに付いて聞いてもあまり意味ないなと思い前もってここのアドレスを知らせてあったので自分のサイトの印象などを聞いてみました。
だいたいの意見として見にくい読みにくい分かりにくいという感じでした。確かにこのサイトなど文字のサイズからレイアウトまでピクセルでガチガチ固めて見る人の自由を完全に奪ってしまった作りになっているので作っている段階である程度はそうだろなと思っていたのですが、でもちょっとショック＾＾;
特にサイドバーなどの最近のエントリーやコメント、トラックバックなどよく分からないしゴチャゴチャしてて邪魔なだけじゃないのとか、コメントなどはどこから入れたらいいのか分かりにくくて不親切この上ないよ、とかそんな感じでした。
Blogをやっている人にとってはテンプレートを隅から隅までいじくっていたり、他のBlogも見なれているってこともあって同じような作りになっていることが、見やすかったりするわけなんですけど、興味のない人にとってはBlogも単なるホームページの一つでしかなく、トップページにテキスト情報が溢れていたり、これでもかってくらいリンクされてたりするのをこの上なく扱いにくいと思ったりするんでしょうか。
ん・・・ちょっとテンプレートを直そうかなと思ってしまいましたが、でも今はパワーがないです。
